Agere Systems Inc. - Business Consolidation

The Agere Systems Inc. Solar System Business Consolidation was one of the most challenging and difficult projects in the history of the company.

The consolidation was originally planned and prepared for by Butz as a $180 million project. Ultimately scaled down to $93 million, the project was comprised of 46 separate projects including semiconductor and optoelectronics manufacturing, research, laboratory and office spaces.

At its peak the project involved 50 subcontractors, 6 design firms and 1,300 craftsmen.
