Interior renovations include all new floors and ceilings in mall common areas, as well as increased lighting and completely refurbished restrooms. Similar improvements were made to the food court, including new porcelain floor tile, wall coverings, column surrounds, ornamental work, and lighting. At center court, a dome was erected using an innovative ceiling grid system that uses gypsum wallboard instead of traditional GRG. A cold cathode lighting system was installed under the dome, which can be used to provide decorative or ambient mood lighting.

Four mall entrances were reconfigured with new structural steel, GRG columns, spandrel glass facades, ornamental EIFS, canopies, and signage. Aluminum storefronts, vestibules, and doorways were installed. A 30-foot connecting link for a new anchor location was also constructed.

Our value engineering assessment identified 20% in savings, enabling the owner to achieve its desired budget. Work was completed using an aggressive phasing plan while maintaining safe access to all retail stores.
