Healthcare and CCRC
This project consisted of multiple phases of renovations to 20,500 square feet on the first floor of the Divine Providence Hospital. Renovations included updating and expanding the main lobby and connecting corridors, making functional changes to the Radiology Department, and creating a state-of-the-art Breast Health Suite.
Detailed logistics and phasing were developed and executed by the project team for the renovations in the lobby and corridors to allow patient, staff, and visitors ease of access to the rest of the Hospital during construction. As a result of the renovations, those entering the Hospital are new welcomed into a modern, well-lit lobby that includes a reception desk for assistance and educational information. With patient volumes increasing, it was vital to move the 8,000 s.f. office into the newly renovated 14,000-square foot Breast Health Suite to provide additional exam rooms, enhanced patient privacy, and convenient access to the other services at the Hospital. The suite now includes a large comfortable waiting area, staff areas that have easy access to exam rooms, ultrasound and mammography rooms, and support areas.
