Hershey Medical Center- Camp Hill Medical Office Renovation

This project was a phased renovation of a two-story building into a full service family practice medical center. Phase I provided family practice exam rooms, a central nurses’ station, and main reception. Phase 2 created specialty practice areas including physical therapy and radiology. Phase 3 included areas for MRI equipment and specialty testing. The phasing plan enabled the client to take partial occupancy of the space and begin providing services to the surrounding community as construction progressed.

The scope of work involved complete interior renovation and installation of all new mechanical and electrical distribution systems. The concrete flooring was demolished to allow the installation of new plumbing lines to serve over 40 exam rooms with sinks. The space was fit out with new partitions, acoustical and drywall ceilings, floors and wall finishes, and extensive wood and plastic laminate casework.

A canopy was erected on the exterior of the building and an opening cut into the exterior masonry wall to create a new main entrance. Roofing, asphalt paving, and landscaping improvements were also included.
