In response to an estimated 15% growth in campus meal plan participation, Indiana University of Pennsylvania has set in motion a plan to expand its dining facilities. Phase I of the project included the construction of the Crimson Cafe. Phase II consists of renovations to Folger Hall, which will include the construction of an addition as well as the changing of the facility from a retail site and food court to an all-you-can-eat dining area.
We acted as the eyes and ears of the Owner, taking on a more supervisory role. The team has to work in and around an existing post office and print shop, both of which remain active. In order to ensure both suffer minimal disruptions to their operations, the team has made sure to maintain utilities to those areas throughout the duration of construction.
