Parking Structures Park-and-Ride Facility (Design/Build)
Design/build of a commuter rail station, including a 390,600 square foot, five-story precast concrete parking facility with 1,291 spaces. A 225 linear foot (4,420 square foot) pedestrian bridge connects the garage to stair towers at each platform, spanning 56 feet across the two train tracks. The station features 710-foot inbound and 735-foot outbound high-level, precast, double-T platforms. The garage is framed in column and light wall bearing on spread footings. Four stair towers are enclosed in faux-stone precast and glass with curved, standing seam metal roofing and linear metal ceilings. Two hydraulic elevators serve all parking levels; an additional elevator serves the inbound platform. A public address system, information display monitors, CCTV security system, and automated ticketing equipment are provided.
