Spring-Ford Area Schools

Single prime contractor for major site development and construction of two new public schools on an 80-acre lot. The 337,000 square feet intermediate school contains 150 classrooms on two levels for grades 5 through 7. It also includes a 7,500 square foot library/media center, full and half-court gymnasiums, science and computer labs, music suites, shop, and a 775-seat cafeteria / auditorium. The 92,200 square foot elementary contains 48 classrooms on two levels, with a computer lab, small and large group instruction rooms, a multi-purpose gym / auditorium, and 325-seat cafeteria.

Both structures consist of masonry construction with standing seam metal roofs. Heating and cooling processes are supplemented by geothermal technology. Both schools were delivered ahead of schedule, despite design revisions and permitting delays.
