K-12 Education
Diocese of Allentown - St. Catharine of Siena Cathedral School

The Cathedral School is a Roman Catholic elementary school serving the families of Saint Catharine of Siena Parish in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with approximately 400 students currently enrolled in grades K-8. The school also operates an active preschool program for children ages 3 and 4, and offers extended-care services.

In Phase I the John and Margaret Walson Activities center was added to give the school a gymnasium with a small stage for various performances and restrooms. The building is constructed of steel frame and masonry block with a brick veneer. Phase II brought much-needed renovations to the Church's basement.

The original Cathedral School was built in 1927 by Butz and Clader, a predecessor of Alvin H. Butz, Inc. one of the subsidies of Butz Enterprises, Inc.
