YWCA of Greater Harrisburg – John Crain Kunkel Center Headquarters

Conversion of an existing historic mansion into the new headquarters for the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg. The 36,000 square foot interior renovation involved all new partitions, flooring and finishes. Lead-based paint was removed and replaced. The building received all new windows and a roof, as well as mechanical, fire protection and electrical systems. A four-story, 36,400 square foot addition was also constructed. The project received an Historic Preservation Award from the Historic Harrisburg Association.
